Job summary

The Neuropsychology Service at Stony Brook Medicine seeks a Psychometrist to administer, score, and interpret neuropsychological tests for a wide age range. You will receive training in test administration, scoring, and writing neuropsychological evaluation reports, with opportunities to participate in clinical research.

Per diem schedule with day shifts; completion of pre-employment screenings and licensing where required, and a commitment to diversity and excellence in patient care are

Qualifications

• Preliminary experience with, and/or exposure to, psychological or neuropsychological tests
• Basic mathematical skills
• Able to provide structure but also able to build/maintain rapport with patients
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

• The psychometrist will be involved in neuropsychological test administration and scoring.
• The psychometrist will take part in test interpretation.
• The psychometrist will draft partial or complete reports as appropriate.
