Job summary

The Cradle Company in San Francisco, CA is seeking a compassionate nanny to provide long-term, part-time care for a 6-year-old and a newborn, with start as soon as possible.

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 10:30am to 5:30pm (28 hours per week). The family values a gentle, calm, and nurturing environment, with a bilingual Mandarin/English requirement.

Must be vaccinated and comfortable with parents working from home, in a home setting.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for infants and young children.
• Gentle, patient, and structured caregiving style.
• Ability to balance infant care with preschooler needs.
• Vaccination as required by family policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care focused on safety, well-being, and development.
• Support newborn transition into family.
• Assist with light household duties including cooking, cleaning, and laundry (supplies provided).
• Occasionally monitor and care for the newborn during errands.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe home environment using non-toxic practices.
