Job summary

North Texas Behavioral Health Authority (NTBHA) in Irving, TX seeks a MST Bilingual Therapist to treat youth with behavioral and substance use issues and their families using multisystemic therapy.

The role requires Spanish-English proficiency, a relevant Master’s or equivalent experience, and a commitment to trauma-informed care. Travel across NTBHA counties is required, with after-hours availability as needed.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish required.
• Masters degree in a clinical or counseling field or a bachelor’s with relevant experience.
• Valid Texas Driver's License and auto liability insurance.
• Experience with adolescents and families preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Multisystemic Therapy (MST) to youth and families with behavioral or substance use issues.
• Conduct MST assessments, engage key participants, and develop ecological analyses.
• Develop treatment plans and monitor progress with timely documentation.
• Deliver individual and family therapy and appropriate case management services.
• Coordinate with MST Program Manager and consultants for supervision.
• Travel across NTBHA counties (Dallas, Ellis, Hunt, Kaufman, Navarro & Rockwall).
• Maintain compliance with HHSC rules, documentation standards, and MST processes.
