Qualifications

• Must be bilingual with strong communication skills.
• Experience in lending and understanding of secondary market guidelines (FNMA/FHLMC).
• Strong analytical and math skills to evaluate financial data and tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Interviews and counsels customers on financing programs and requirements.
• Obtains financial data and completes loan disclosures.
• Calculates payments, closing costs, and debt-to-income ratios.
• Analyzes financial documents and determines lender eligibility per guidelines.
• Forwards applications and tracks status; coordinates final submission to investors or loan committee.
• Reviews final loan package and appraisal for readiness for submission; makes recommendations or declines as needed.
• Maintains relationships with Realtors and builders to develop business; cross-sells bank services.
