Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC seeks a Bilingual Loan Officer Assistant to support mortgage loan officers in daily duties and help increase loan production. You’ll work directly with CCM customers, loan officers, and processors to ensure a positive experience and timely closings.

The role requires communication in Spanish and English, a minimum of 1 year in mortgage-related work, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and English to communicate with customers.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year mortgage-related experience including customer contact.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Salesforce experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing mortgage loan applications and documentation.
• Review disclosure packages and deliver them to the borrower.
• Create rate disclosure and re-disclosure packages and deliver them to the borrower.
• Review documents and entire loan files and notify the mortgage loan officer/processor of deficiencies.
• Clarify/correct information and obtain additional information as necessary.
• Provide clerical and phone support to loan officers and processors.
• Assist in lending and processing across stages as needed.
• Assist in managing a pipeline of conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, 203K and reverse mortgage loans.
• Deliver appraisals and/or property valuations to the borrower and retrieve proof of receipt.
• Track outstanding items on all loan files and follow up with customers for documentation.
• Facilitate timely closings by coordinating with Title Company and customer.
