Job summary

PM Pediatric Care is seeking a Throughput Manager to optimize patient flow across mental health services, from referral and access to scheduling, care coordination, and revenue cycle readiness.

The role leads Intake, Scheduling, Access, and capacity management, partnering with clinical and admin leaders to improve access, patient experience, and provider utilization. Must be bilingual and experienced in healthcare operations.

Qualifications

• Bilingual.
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years of healthcare operations or patient access experience.
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience with mental health.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling workflows and patient access management.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead Intake Coordinators, Scheduling Specialists, Access Coordinators and staff.
• Oversee all patient intake and access workflows.
• Monitor and improve new patient conversion rates.
• Develop staffing models and schedules for coverage.
• Forecast provider capacity and optimize schedules.
• Manage referral processes and timely authorizations.
• Monitor dashboards and KPIs; report to leadership.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and documentation accuracy.
