Job summary

Universal Health Services seeks a Call Center role to notify and confirm mental health outpatient appointments, ensuring confidential, timely communication with members, providers, and authorized parties.

You will verify identities, share appointment details, document actions, and monitor for unconfirmed slots while collaborating with case managers and clinical staff to support continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health, social work, psychology, or related fields.
• Proficiency with computer programs and electronic documentation systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication in Spanish; bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound phone calls to notify and confirm previously coordinated mental health outpatient appointments.
• Verify the member’s identity following privacy and confidentiality protocols.
• Provide information on date, time, modality, and location of the appointment.
• Document all actions in designated systems accurately and promptly.
• Identify and report unconfirmed appointments, cancellations, and scheduling difficulties.
