Job summary

Universal Health Services (UHS) is seeking a dedicated Notification Specialist to manage outbound calls for confirming mental health outpatient appointments. You will verify patient identity, relay appointment details, and document actions in the system while upholding privacy standards.

Responsibilities include following up on non-responsive cases, coordinating with providers and case managers, and escalating issues requiring clinical or administrative intervention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health, social work, psychology, or related fields.
• Proficiency in computer programs and electronic documentation systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in Spanish; bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Notify and confirm mental health outpatient appointments by outbound calls.
• Verify identity following privacy protocols.
• Provide appointment date, time, modality, and location details.
• Document actions promptly in designated systems.
• Identify unconfirmed appointments and contact difficulties.
• Escalate issues requiring clinical or administrative intervention.
