Oportun in Modesto, CA is seeking a Bilingual English and Spanish Member Loyalty Representative. This full-time role focuses on greeting members, processing transactions, and educating communities about our inclusive financial services.

You will also engage in outreach, build relationships with local businesses, and assist with applications using tablets or QR codes, while supporting store operations and weekend needs.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Outgoing, sales-focused, and enjoy speaking with people.
• Willing to help members through outreach and education.
• Available to work weekends with a rotating schedule.
• Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
• Willing to work outdoors year-round to promote products.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use office devices.
• Ability to organize and file paper documents.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members with a warm greeting and provide quality member service.
• Seamlessly process all transactions, following policy and protecting information.
• Work as a team or independently, exceeding daily lending and servicing goals.
• Educate potential members about Oportun’s services via outreach activities.
• Build relationships with local businesses and speak with owners about offerings.
• Conduct outreach at local markets and LAAS partner locations to generate leads.
• Assist with applications and encourage store visits and signups.
