Hudson Regional Health is seeking a Medical Scribe to document patient encounters in the EMR with accuracy and efficiency. The role supports providers so they can focus on patient care while ensuring complete clinical documentation.

Primary duties include recording histories, assessments, plans, and orders, while maintaining HIPAA compliance and confidentiality in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous medical scribe experience is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable using computers and electronic medical records.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Document patient visits, medical histories, assessments, and treatment plans in the EMR.
• Accurately record information provided by the physician or healthcare provider.
• Assist with reviewing and organizing patient charts and medical records.
• Enter orders, diagnoses, medications, and other clinical information as directed.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, timely, and follows office procedures.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.
• Perform other administrative or clinical documentation duties as needed.
