Suvida Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Informatics Specialist to ensure accurate medical documentation during patient encounters and to support efficient EHR workflows. The CIS will work with the care team to document histories, exams, tests, and plans in real time.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of clinical experience, strong EHR skills, and bilingual (English/Spanish) abilities in a diverse, community-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy/physiology is a plus.
• Prior experience as a Medical Scribe is preferred.
• Ability to efficiently use electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Strong typing skills and advanced computer proficiency.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to move between Neighborhood Centers as needed.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsabilités

• Document patient encounters in real time, including histories, exams, tests, and plans.
• EHR management and data input with compliance and confidentiality.
• Review and organize patient charts for completeness.
• Act as liaison between providers and team for information exchange.
• Enter accurate ICD-10 and CPT codes for diagnoses and services.
• Support documentation queries with the coding team.
• Prepare morning huddle by researching patient history.
• Oversee quality metrics and identify gaps in care.
• Analyze population health and coding strategies for at-risk patients.
• Stay updated on evidence-based medical protocols.
• Maintain patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
