Suvida Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Informatics Specialist to ensure accuracy and efficiency of medical documentation during patient encounters. The CIS collaborates with primary care providers to record histories, exams, tests, and treatment plans in the electronic health record.

You will assist with chart review, coding, and data integrity while maintaining HIPAA compliance, and you may move between Neighborhood Centers as needed to support care delivery.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is a plus.
• Ability to efficiently use electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Strong typing skills and advanced computer proficiency.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment with accuracy.
• Willingness to move between Neighborhood Centers as needed.
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish is required.

• Document patient encounters and medical histories in real-time.
• Navigate and use EHR systems to input and manage patient data per compliance standards.
• Regularly review and organize patient charts for completeness and accuracy.
• Act as a liaison between providers and team members for information requests.
• Enter accurate ICD-10 and CPT codes for diagnoses and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between coding team and providers for queries.
• Research patient charts to enhance morning huddle presentations.
• Oversee measurement, analysis, and reporting of healthcare quality metrics.
• Analyze population health to identify at‑risk patients and support chronic care enrollment.
• Stay updated on evidence-based protocols and provide data to the care team.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA and related regulations.
