Bush & Bush Law Group is seeking a motivated Medical Assistant (English/Spanish - Bilingual) to join our remote team. You will support case management with medical records, billing, and treatment tracking in a fast-paced personal injury practice.

Responsibilities include requesting and reviewing medical and billing records, verifying accuracy, contacting providers for updates, and tracking progress on records and affidavits. Remote role with 8AM–5PM US Central Time.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Previous experience in a medical assistant, medical office, or healthcare-related role preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, billing codes, and medical records management preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsabilidades

• Review and track medical treatment status across all treatment phases.
• Request and obtain medical and billing records and affidavits efficiently.
• Verify records for accuracy and completeness.
• Proactively contact providers to obtain status updates on records and affidavits.
• Provide weekly status updates on records and affidavits.
• Research and manage subrogation liens (Medicaid/Medicare, Hospital Liens).
• Caseload management for 30-40 active cases and increasing.
• Assist Case Manager in confirming clients have received required treatment.
