Job summary

Bush & Bush Law Group in the United States seeks a motivated Medical Assistant (Bilingual/Spanish) to join our remote team. You will support personal injury clients by coordinating medical treatments and managing records with accuracy and empathy.

Responsibilities include requesting records, verifying accuracy, contacting providers for updates, tracking progress weekly, handling subrogation liens, and assisting the Case Manager to confirm client treatments while maintaining an organized caseload.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and Spanish required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associates/bachelor’s preferred.
• Experience in medical assistant or healthcare-related role preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, billing codes, and records management.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Review and track medical treatment across treatment lifecycle.
• Manage medical and billing records, obtaining affidavits as needed.
• Verify record accuracy and completeness for efficiency.
• Proactively contact providers for status updates on records.
• Provide weekly status updates on records and affidavits.
• Research and manage subrogation liens and related claims.
• Caseload management for 30-40 active cases, scalable over time.
• Assist Case Manager in confirming client treatments per referrals.
