Job summary

Pafc is seeking a friendly Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist to greet patients, collect information, and manage front desk tasks at multiple Dallas offices. The role requires bilingual Spanish/English fluency and at least 1 year of medical office experience.

You will check-in/out patients, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and support providers with timely information and follow-up appointments. Top candidate demonstrates excellent customer service, strong communication, and professional

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year experience in a medical office.
Bilingual in Spanish/English required.
Active driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Check-in patients, update demographics and insurance information, collect co-pays and balances, and obtain signatures and health questionnaires.
Check-out patients, collect balances, provide visit summaries and referral information, and schedule follow-ups.
Verify insurance status and contact patients when coverage is not active or PCP is not appropriate.
Post charges and payments and perform charge/payment reconciliation.
Scan and upload documents in the Document Management system.
Sort and deliver mail and PA documents; maintain clean waiting areas.
Participate in staff and educational meetings.
