Job summary

Pafc in Dallas, TX seeks a bilingual Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist to support clinical and administrative tasks under a clinician's supervision, aiding pediatric care and chronic disease management.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, MA Diploma/Certification or 1 year MA experience, active BLS, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel to local offices. A $1,000 sign-on bonus and $2/hour travel bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• MA Diploma/Certification or 1 year MA experience preferred.
• Active BLS certification required.
• Driver's license required on hire.
• Experience in healthcare settings and pediatric care is a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish/English fluency is required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and room patients; prepare exam rooms and maintain infection control.
• Obtain and document vital signs and patient history in EMR.
• Assist clinicians during examinations and procedures.
• Perform basic screenings and administer vaccines per protocol.
• Collect lab specimens and perform point-of-care testing.
• Maintain patient records and provide patient education.
• Assist with scheduling, referrals, and routine forms.
• Respond to patient messages and report changes to clinicians.
