Job summary

Archdiocese of San Antonio is seeking a Lead Medical Coordinator to oversee medical services for unaccompanied children, hire and supervise medical staff, and ensure compliance with agency policy and minimum standards.

The role requires strong clinical leadership, triage skills, coordination with ORR and DFPS, and effective management of records, training, and on-call duties to deliver high-quality trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field is required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Texas or eligible to practice.
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and guidance to the medical team while monitoring daily practices to ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Perform triage assessments to evaluate patient symptoms and determine urgency, coordinating the medical response or referral.
• Compiling, preparing, submitting and maintaining accurate records in accordance with policy and standards.
• Coordinate medical services with ORR Medical team and ensure documentation.
