Job summary

Nextaff is seeking a bilingual Medical Office Supervisor/Assistant Manager for a growing primary care practice in The Villages/Wildwood, FL. This contract-to-hire role offers a clear path to permanent employment, with a starting salary of $45,000–$52,000 plus a quarterly bonus and comprehensive benefits.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM with no nights or weekends. Weekly pay during assignment and benefits on Day One are included, with additional PTO, health/dental/vision, and 401(k)

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• 2+ years of healthcare supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Experience in primary care, internal medicine or family medicine.
• Strong knowledge of medical office operations and terminology.
• Strong EMR/EHR skills; eClinicalWorks (eCW) preferred.
• Managed care and/or value-based care experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with billing, diagnosis and CPT workflows.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and supervise medical office staff.
• Maintain patient flow and front-office operations.
• Oversee check-in/check-out, scheduling, phones and co-pay collection.
• Assist with patient billing questions and charge-capture issues.
• Support physicians and clinical staff.
• Identify problems and keep the office moving in a fast-paced environment.
