Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and assist with vital signs and medical history.
• Answer and triage telephone calls; update medical records with lab/procedure results.
• Interview patients to obtain medical information.
• Obtain medication preauthorizations.
• Triage calls and call patients with lab results and instructions.
• Schedule patient appointments and prepare charts for visits.
• Explain treatments and physician instructions to patients.
