Qualifications

• Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: High School diploma or GED. Ability to speak and write in English and another language fluently. Certification or qualification in medical interpreter training.

Responsabilités

• Assist patients, families and providers to engage in clear communication.
• Provide accurate oral interpretation for non-English speakers.
• Maintain confidentiality and unbiased behavior.
• Support admission, registration and clinical teams to bridge linguistic barriers.
• Adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
• Handle challenging conversations with sensitivity and professionalism.
