Job summary

Townsen Memorial Hospital is seeking a Bilingual Medical Receptionist to greet patients, schedule appointments, and perform clerical duties in a fast-paced office. You will support clinical staff by maintaining accurate patient records and handling front-desk inquiries with professionalism.

Applicants should be fluent in English and Spanish, have a high school diploma, and a year of customer service experience. BLS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors and provide information.
• Schedule appointments and update calendars in the EMR.
• Assist patients to complete forms and verify demographics.
• Manage patient accounts and collect charges.
• Answer phones, transfer calls, and route messages to staff.
• Coordinate mail and office supply functions.
• Maintain reception area and sign-in procedures.
• Ensure documents and charts are filed and accessible.
