Job summary

Pueblo Community Health Center Inc is seeking a part-time Call Center Representative (bilingual preferred) to answer and direct calls, schedule appointments, and assist patients with inquiries. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year in a medical office.

Spanish language ability is preferred, with strong communication and typing skills essential. The position reports to the Clinic Support Services Supervisor and offers a flexible benefits program for employees

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of medical office experience preferred.
• Experience scheduling appointments.
• Excellent public relations and communication skills.
• Spanish language ability preferred.
• Good typing skills and computer proficiency; knowledge of ten-key.

Responsibilities

• Answer multiple phone lines and route calls according to procedures.
• Greets callers as they contact the center by telephone.
• Respond to patients’ inquiries, requests and route to appropriate department.
• Accurately schedule all necessary appointments and update demographics/insurance information.
• Enroll new patients into the system for screenings and medical appointments.
• Process patient calls/messages using NextGen’s electronic system.
• Perform general office duties as assigned.
