Job summary

USA Clinics Group seeks a Medical Assistant to support physicians at Fort Myers and Naples clinics, balancing patient needs with efficient office workflow and delivering a superior service experience. You will perform phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, vital signs, and specimen collection, documenting all activity in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks.

Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Experience performing clinical duties such as vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred.
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in Spanish & English.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the EMR/EHR.
• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification.
• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems.
• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.
• Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.
