Job summary

USA Clinics Group is hiring a Medical Assistant to balance patient needs and maintain workflow across Fort Myers and Naples clinics. You will support physicians before, during, and after procedures to ensure excellent service, with emphasis on accurate vital signs, documentation, and patient comfort.

The role requires 2–5 years of clinical experience, CMA/RMA/CCMA preferred, and fluency in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or CMA/RMA/CCMA preferred.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients, ensuring a welcoming experience.
• Document vital signs, histories, and clinical data in EMR/EHR.
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection as trained.
• Document interactions in EMR/EHR and support high patient volume.

Position Summary:

As a Medical Assistant, you would balance the needs of patients and maintain efficient work flow of the office as well as provide support to the physician in all facets of medical procedures - before during and after. In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday, Thursday, & Friday
• Locations: Fort Myers & Naples clinics
• Compensation: $22-$25/hr
• Paid training (may need to train in Miami; USA Clinics will cover expenses)

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR)
• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification
• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems
• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems
• Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-5 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant
• Experience performing clinical duties such as vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
• Fluency in Spanish & English
