Job summary

Doral Health & Wellness is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) program in Brooklyn. This role focuses on patient education, data interpretation, and proactive care coordination to improve outcomes.

The ideal candidate has MA experience, EMR proficiency, and strong communication skills, including English/Spanish bilingual capabilities. This remote position offers competitive pay and a path for career growth within a patient-centric organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; MA certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience; primary care or care management preferred.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to educate patients on medical devices and use technology.

Responsibilities

• Support patients enrolled in the RPM program.
• Educate patients on remote monitoring devices and setup.
• Monitor health data and elevate abnormal findings to the clinical team.
• Conduct outbound calls for follow-up and protocol adherence.
• Document interactions in EMR.
• Coordinate with providers and care staff to ensure timely care.
• Assist with scheduling follow-ups and patient questions.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and organizational policies.
