ArchWell Health in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Medical Assistant to support a primary care team, greet and room members, and assist in assessing health conditions with routine testing during appointments.

The MA will coordinate closely with care teams, document accurately, and may float to other centers as needed. Bilingual English/Spanish required; completion of an accredited MA program and BLS are required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program OR comparable healthcare vocational training required.
A minimum of 1 year work experience as a Medical Assistant.
Must be bilingual (English/Spanish) and able to pass formal proficiency exam as part of the selection process.
6+ months' phlebotomy experience is highly desired.
BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
EClinical Works or similar EMR experience.

Responsabilités

Conduct intake with patients, measuring and recording vital signs, patient interview, and medical history; perform examinations and routine screenings.
Critically listen and engage with patients throughout appointment and report changes to PCP or specialists.
Process patient phone messages and calls, route to team members, and relay information as needed.
Change dressings, apply bandages, remove sutures, and perform first aid under physician supervision.
Ensure OSHA safety standards and maintain accurate, legal, and ethical documentation.
Provide health coaching to a defined group of patients and follow up via weekly calls.
