Job summary

Marathon Health is hiring an experienced Medical Assistant to support a primary care team and deliver exceptional patient care. You will act as both a Medical Receptionist and clinical team member, assisting physicians and coordinating the patient experience.

The position requires at least 1 year of MA experience, graduation from an MA program, and CPR/BLS certification at start. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish or English/Burmese) are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification or registration is preferred; CPR/BLS required at start date.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform venipuncture and injections; assist with procedures.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and coordination of care outside the clinic.
• Record data in the medical chart following guidelines; manage test results and communicate with patients.
