Job summary

Marathon Health in Littleton, CO is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The MA works closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience, serving as both Medical Receptionist and clinical support.

The role includes taking vitals, assisting with procedures, managing exam rooms, and supporting care coordination. Spanish fluency is preferred due to regular interaction with Spanish-speaking patients.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum experience as Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration is preferred; required where mandated.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are ready.
• Review patient information and update health information for providers.
• Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections, assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by the Provider.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, chart requests, referrals, and coordinating care.
