Marathon Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support a primary care team and deliver excellent patient care. The MA acts as both a receptionist and clinical assistant, escorting patients, taking vitals, drawing blood, and assisting with immunizations under provider direction.

The role includes front-d desk duties, charting, patient communication, and coordinating referrals while maintaining a clean, stocked exam area and supporting overall patient experience.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 1 year as Medical Assistant, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state MA certification or registration preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are stocked.
• Take vitals and perform blood draws; assist with procedures.
• Administer medications/immunizations per provider order.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals.
• Document data in medical records per guidelines and report results.
• Engage patients to drive care engagement.
