Job summary

Marathon Health is actively seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team at the Salem, OH clinic. The MA will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care and a positive guest experience, serving as both a receptionist and clinical support.

We require 1 year of MA experience, graduation from a Medical Assistant program, and CPR/BLS certification. Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• National or state MA certification or registration is preferred; required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, and assist with procedures under the Provider's direction.
• Front desk duties: patient scheduling, medical record requests, and coordination of referrals and tests.

Skills

1 year MA experience

CPR/BLS certification

Phlebotomy experience (preferred)

Education

Medical Assistant program graduation
