Job summary

Marathon Health, LLC is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant in Salem, OH. The role combines front-desk duties with clinical tasks, supporting a primary care physician and delivering quality patient care in a busy clinic.

Minimum 1 year MA experience, MA program graduation, and CPR/BLS certification are preferred. Fluency in English is expected, and bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. On-site schedule with expected 40 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred; required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date; phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, collect specimens, perform injections, and assist with procedures.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, check-in/out.
• Prepare and administer approved medications/immunizations per provider order.
• Support care team to develop patient care plans and address gaps in care.
