Job summary

ArchWell Health in Las Vegas is seeking a bilingual Medical Assistant to support the PCP team, greet patients, take vital signs, and assist during appointments.

You will perform routine screenings, manage patient communications, and help with basic procedures while upholding OSHA standards and compassionate care.

Experience with geriatrics is a plus; BLS, EClinicalWorks EMR, and a patient-first mindset are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Must be bilingual and able to pass a formal proficiency exam as part of the selection process.
• Minimum of 1 year work experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Phlebotomy experience (6+ months) highly desired.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable healthcare vocational training required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• EClinicalWorks or similar EMR experience.
• Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake with patients, measuring and recording vital signs, patient interview, and medical history; perform examinations and routine screenings, ensuring patients are informed and questions addressed.
• Critically listen and engage with patients, reporting changes to PCP, specialists or other clinical staff.
• Process patient phone messages: return calls, route messages, and relay information to the physician.
• Change dressings, apply bandages, remove sutures; perform CPR under physician supervision.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and accurate documentation at all times.
• Provide health coaching to defined patient groups with weekly follow-ups.
