Job summary

Neighborhood Outreach Access to Health (NOAH) is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers with diagnostic testing, examinations, education, and patient treatments. You will prepare patients for examinations, take vitals, record health histories, and assist with injections and specimen collection.

The role requires excellent communication in English and Spanish, professionalism, and discretion. You may travel to offsite locations to perform testing and assist in exams, with duties

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant certification or BOMEX/US Armed Forces training preferred.
• BLS certification required or attained before start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist provider with diagnostic testing, examinations, education, and treatments.
• Prepare patients for exams, take vitals, and document health history.
• Set up EKG, administer injections, and collect specimens as needed.
• Assist with inventory, equip exam rooms, and maintain cleanliness of instruments.
• Manage appointment scheduling, check-in/out, and referrals.
• Travel to offsite locations for testing or exams as required.
