Job summary

Valora Medical Group is hiring a Medical Assistant to support physicians and patients with administrative and clinical tasks. The role involves EMR documentation, patient triage, record updates, and coordination of care across clinics.

The candidate should be a certified Medical Assistant with 2+ years of experience, bilingual in English and Spanish, and proficient in EMR systems including eClinicalWorks. Flexibility to travel between clinics is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Medical Assistant credential required.
• Bilingual English and Spanish is required for this location.
• 2+ years’ experience as a medical assistant.
• Proficiency with EMR; eCW experience a plus.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and office management systems.

Responsibilities

• Meet with patients and document medical history in the EMR.
• Triage patients and assist during examinations.
• Update medical records and coordinate care with specialists.
• Prepare patients and exam rooms, handle instruments.
• Administer immunizations and injections; blood draws.
• Assist with scheduling, phone coverage, and clinic coverage as needed.
• Travel to other clinics when required; mileage reimbursement applies.
