Bella Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a competent Medical Assistant to join our care team in a dynamic clinic environment. The role blends clinical and administrative duties to support patient care and efficient operations.

The ideal candidate will manage vital signs, venipuncture, immunization records, and insurance verification while complying with VFC/CHDP, HEDIS, ICD-10, and CPT standards. Bilingual Spanish is preferred to assist diverse patients.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant with back/front office experience.
• Knowledge of IPAs, insurance plans, and government programs.
• Certified/knowledgeable in VFC and CHDP requirements.
• Familiar with HEDIS measures and preventive care guidelines.
• Proficient in ICD-10 and CPT coding.
• Experience with venipuncture, labs, and patient intake processes.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document vital signs, patient histories, and intake assessments.
• Conduct venipuncture, specimen collection, and assist with labs.
• Support providers during exams and treatments.
• Process patient check-in/check-out, verify insurance, and manage appointments.
• Handle billing codes using ICD-10 and CPT; ensure accuracy for reporting.
• Assist with immunization records, IHAs, and reporting as needed.
