Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program or certification.
• Eligible for Medical Assistant certification from a nationally recognized body.
• Bilingual Spanish or Russian is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nurses with patient care and examinations.
• Validate patient identifiers and prepare rooms for exams.
• Measure vital signs and collect lab samples as needed.
• Schedule appointments and perform data entry in EPIC.
• Maintain patient privacy per HIPAA standards.
• Transcribe visit notes into the EMR and support care coordination.
