NYU Grossman School of Medicine is seeking a Medical Assistant (FGP) in Rego Park. The role supports physicians and nurses, prepares patients and rooms, takes vital signs, draws blood, and handles data entry and scheduling.

Bilingual Russian or Spanish is highly preferred. Candidates should have a Medical Assistant program credential or certification, strong communication, and EPIC experience to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or certification.
• Bilingual in Russian or Spanish is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escorts patients to exam rooms.
• Measures and records patient vital signs.
• Obtains and processes blood samples per policy.
• Transcribes encounters into EPIC and assists with patient intake.
• Answers calls and supports front-desk tasks.
