Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Patient Care Assistant or Medical Assistant.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a teamwork environment for patient care.
• Working knowledge of English in speaking, reading and writing.
• Demonstrated computer skills.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Phlebotomy knowledge preferred.
• Bilingual Polish or Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and perform check-in/check-out as needed.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and route messages.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare rooms for provider visits.
• Maintain patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
• Use EPIC to review and update patient records.
• Support administrative tasks and patient access processes.
• Stock exam rooms and ensure supplies are available.
