Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent clinical training preferred.
• Experience in healthcare with clinical and receptionist duties.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and basic office software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patient confidentiality in mind.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients, verify insurance information.
• Schedule and confirm appointments using EHR.
• Answer calls and direct inquiries to staff.
• Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and histories.
• Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and privacy compliance.
• Process billing information and assist with insurance claims.
• Coordinate communication among patients, providers, and external agencies.
• Manage stock and cleanliness of reception/clinical areas.
