Job summary

USA Vein Clinics is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our healthcare team across Ohio clinics. You will greet patients, room them, obtain vital signs, and assist physicians during procedures to ensure a smooth workflow.

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, specimen collection, accurate EMR documentation, and delivering excellent patient service in a fast-paced environment. Requires 3+ years clinical experience and MA training; CMA/RMA/CCMA preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of hands-on clinical experience in a medical setting required.
• Experience with vital signs, rooming patients, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and CMA/RMA/CCMA certification preferred.
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment required.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in EMR/EHR.
• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification.
• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems.
• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.
• Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.
• Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable.
