Job summary

USA Clinics Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and manage patient flow across multiple Illinois clinics. You will greet patients, document vitals, perform phlebotomy and EKGs, and document interactions in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks.

This role requires 2–3 years of MA experience, a CMA/RMA/CCMA certification, and strong customer service in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or similar role.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and CMA/RMA/CCMA certification.
• Experience with vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection.
• Strong patient-facing/customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients, ensuring a welcoming experience.
• Record vital signs, medical history, and other clinical data in EMR/EHR.
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection within scope.
• Document clinical interactions accurately using EMR/EHR.
• Support care across physician offices, clinics, urgent care, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health.
• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks.
