Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care is seeking a Bilingual Medical Assistant for City Base Clinic in San Antonio. The role is seasonal-full-time, with a pay range of $17–$19 per hour, depending on experience.

You’ll triage pediatric patients, assist providers, administer vaccines, run CLIA-waived tests, and document care in real time. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, Medical Assistant training or certification (military experience acceptable), and BLS certification.

Qualifikationen

• Medical Assistant education or certification; military medical experience acceptable.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Authorized to work in the United States and able to pass a background check.

• Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments while helping children feel comfortable.
• Administer medications and vaccines according to established safety protocols.
• Perform CLIA-waived laboratory testing and required quality control checks.
• Document patient care accurately and in real time.
• Complete and close patient charts by the end of each shift.
• Support efficient patient flow, especially during high-volume periods.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and clinical team members.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.

What We Need

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Strong communicationand organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced pediatric clinical environment
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and rotating shifts
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to successfully complete a background check

Clinic Hours:

• Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM-8:00 PM
• Saturday-Sunday: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Flexible availability based on clinic needs
• Opportunity to travel to other Little Spurs clinics as needed
