Velazquez Pain Relief Center in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our back office team. You will thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting and help patients find relief through accurate vital signs, history intake, and support during pain management procedures.

This role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, CMA/RMA certification (or equivalent) preferred, and prior back office experience.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required, both written and verbal.
• Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred.
• Back office/clinical medical assistant experience required.
• Experience in pain management, orthopedics, or specialty care is a plus.
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and medical documentation.
• Strong phlebotomy and injection administration skills.
• Excellent communication and patient-centered approach.
• Ability to multitask and work in a high-volume clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and room patients, recording vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints
• Assist physicians and providers with clinical procedures and pain management treatments
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using EMR/EHR systems
• Prepare exam rooms, ensuring proper sterilization and stocking of medical supplies
• Coordinate lab work, referrals, and medication prior authorizations as needed
• Assist with patient and pharmacy calls
