Zusammenfassung

ACCESS Community Health Network in Chicago seeks a Medical Assistant to join a mission-driven care team delivering community health services. You will take vital signs, assist providers with onsite procedures, and help patients with questions, scheduling, and medical records.

The role requires a Medical Assistant diploma, CPR/BLS, and at least one year of experience or a clinical externship, with basic EMR skills (Epic preferred). Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred.

Position Summary

• Work in collaboration with a skilled care team that includes dedicated providers, benefits specialists, front desk receptionists, behavioral health consultants and others to provide quality health services and resources to meet our patients’ needs.


• Assist providers with onsite procedures.


• Take vital signs, perform phlebotomy and administer medications/vaccines directly to patients.


• Assist patients by responding to questions, returning calls, scheduling appointments and reviewing medical records.


• Continue to grow your knowledge base through extensive clinical training and technical training with Epic, one of the leading Electronic Medical Record Systems globally.

Requirements
