ACCESS Community Health Network is seeking a Medical Assistant to join a collaborative care team and support providers with on-site procedures, phlebotomy, and patient education.

You will take vital signs, administer vaccines, respond to patient questions, and help with scheduling and chart reviews, while growing through clinical and Epic EMR training.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited program.

Position Summary

• Work in collaboration with a skilled care team that includes dedicated providers, benefits specialists, front desk receptionists, behavioral health consultants and others to provide quality health services and resources to meet our patients’ needs.
• Assist providers with onsite procedures.
• Take vital signs, perform phlebotomy and administer medications/vaccines directly to patients.
• Assist patients by responding to questions, returning calls, scheduling appointments and reviewing medical records.
• Continue to grow your knowledge base through extensive clinical training and technical training with Epic, one of the leading Electronic Medical Record Systems globally.

Requirements

• HighSchool diploma or equivalent
• Medical Assistant diploma from an accreditedprogram
• CPR/Basic Life Support Certification
• Minimum of one (1) year experience or clinical externship
• Basic proficiency withEMR (Epic preferred)
• Ability to work some evenings and Saturdays
• Bilingual English/Spanish
