Job summary

LifeDoc Health in Memphis, TN is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our multi-disciplinary clinic and support preventive care. You will provide excellent patient service, prepare exam rooms, assist with exams, and help with patient education and care plans.

The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish), with CMA certification preferred, and has EMR experience; training and growth opportunities are available for an in-person schedule Monday-Friday.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred.
• Experience as Medical Assistant or related role is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide great customer service to patients.
• Prepare patient rooms for examination.
• Assist with exams.
• Work-up and discharge patients as needed.
• Complete COVID-19 Rapid Testing during flu season.
• Comply with medical protocols.
• Complete patient profiles.
• Provide patient education and care plan.
• Comply with employee and clinical policies.
• Observe safe practice criteria and observe protocols when assisting patients.
• Any other duty necessary to deliver quality care to our patients.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish
• Certified Medical Assistant: Preferred but not required… a passion for healthcare is key!
• Medical Assistant Experience: 6+ months preferred
• EMR System Experience: At least 1 year
• Vital Signs Experience: At least 1 year
• BLS Certification: Required
• CPR Certification: Required
