Job summary

Nadia Care is seeking a full-time Bilingual Maternity Navigator (MN) to support expectant and new mothers across Central Maryland. You will act as a trusted partner, educating, advocating, and connecting members to essential resources in the community and via virtual visits.

The role requires 3+ years in community health, bilingual English/Spanish, strong communication, and a valid driver's license. Typical weekday schedule with occasional weekends; compensation ranges from $18 to $23 per

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in community health, patient advocacy, or healthcare navigation as a Certified Perinatal Community Health Worker or CMA.
• Deep understanding of challenges expectant mothers face and experience providing prenatal/postpartum health education.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Excellent listening and communication skills with empathy and cultural sensitivity.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work independently in the field while staying connected to a specialist team.

Responsibilities

• Meet with mothers virtually and in-person, educating on urgent maternal warning signs, preeclampsia, and postpartum recovery.
• Educate members on birth positions and breathing techniques.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team and participate in daily huddles.
• Maintain clear documentation of care interactions to ensure coordinated support.
• Build trusting relationships and provide support via call or messaging between visits.
• Connect families to community resources to overcome barriers to healthy pregnancy.
• Share community insights to help shape Nadia Care programs.
• Attend administrative meetings and follow policies to ensure high standards.
