Fenchem is a global supplier of specialty ingredients serving diverse industries. The Accounting Assistant supports daily accounting operations, processes invoices, manages receivables and payables, and assists with documentation and month-end close.

The role requires bilingual English/Mandarin, 2+ years of accounting experience, and proficiency with MS Office and accounting software such as SAP. On-site in Chino, CA with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese required.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with accounting software or SAP systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter financial transactions into accounting software and maintain records.
• Prepare, verify, and process invoices for payment.
• Monitor customer accounts for timely payments and follow up on balances.
• Assist with purchase orders, invoices, credit insurance, and collections.
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate payment discrepancies.
• Prepare financial reports, summaries, and supporting docs.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain organized accounting files for audits and compliance.
• Maintain insurance records and documentation related to business.
• Support general administrative tasks and other accounting duties.
