Job summary

Interstate Lumber in Greenwich, CT is seeking a Counter Sales Associate to deliver outstanding in-person, phone, and email service. You will quote, process orders, balance cash, and help customers find the best lumber and hardware solutions.

Must be bilingual Spanish/English, with strong communication, multitasking, and follow-up skills. Knowledge of Marvin/Anderson brands and familiarity with lumber industry are preferred; training provided for product knowledge and POS systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• 2+ years inside sales or counter sales experience preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish/English required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service in person, by phone, and by email.
• Quote and process orders accurately and timely.
• Balance cash registers and handle sales transactions.
• Monitor inventory and ensure displays are stocked and organized.
• Assist yard customers as needed.
• Follow up on missing or delayed shipments.
