Job summary

Dollar Loan Center is seeking a Loan Processor to help customers meet short-term financial needs. You will review applications, verify information, and fund loans, while answering questions and guiding customers through the process in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

The role requires excellent communication, basic math for payments, and data entry accuracy. Occasional travel between locations and overtime may be required, with a focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of customer service experience to show people skills.
• Comfortable with computers and basic office equipment.
• Killer communication skills (English/Spanish bilingual is a bonus).
• Cash handling, lending, or collections experience is a plus.
• Ready to work regular hours with occasional overtime and travel between locations.
• Reliable transportation and a clean background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a smile and enthusiasm, whether in-person or over the phone.
• Explain the reasons for borrowing from Dollar Loan Center and why we’re best in the business to customers.
• Dive into loan applications, ensuring all info is accurate and completely clarified.
• Process loans quickly while sticking to underwriting guidelines.
• Break down loan contracts to customers, ensuring they understand terms.
• Spot opportunities to approve loans and offer credit limit increases for qualifying customers.
• Make marketing calls to current customers about available credit and products.
• Reach out to past-due accounts with timely, courteous calls.
• Log clear notes with accurate promise dates in the system.
• Calculate payments and explain due dates and interest.
• Enter data into the system with precision to keep the office running smoothly.
